Woman dies after Carrum collision

A woman has died in hospital following a collision in Carrum last week.

It is believed a grey Toyota Hilux ute collided with a white Mazda sedan at the intersection of Station Street and McLeod Road just before 7pm on Tuesday, 10 November.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mazda, a 75-year-old Chelsea woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Sadly, she died on 12 November.

The 20-year-old male driver and the 19-year-old male passenger of the ute, both from Berwick, stopped to assist at the scene and were uninjured.
