A woman has died following a crash in the state’s northeast.
About 9.40am today (Monday 28 September 2026), emergency services were called to Manilla Road, Oxley Vale, following reports a woman had been struck by a car.
The 83-year-old woman was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle – a 83-year-old man – was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
