Woman dies after crash in Mosman

A woman has died after a crash in Sydney’s Lower North Shore earlier this month.

About 11am on Saturday 3 December 2022, emergency services were called to Military Road, Mosman, following reports of a crash.

On arrival, officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command found a taxi and car had collided.

The drivers of the taxi and car were subject to a roadside breath test, with both allegedly returning negative results.

The drivers, and three occupants of the car were uninjured.

The passengers of the taxi – a 98-year-old woman and 29-year-old man – were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital in a stable condition where the woman later died as a result of her injuries.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
