Woman dies in crash, NSW

A woman has died following a crash at Cecil Hills, in Sydney’s west.

Emergency services were called to Feodore Drive about 5.30pm today (Wednesday 26 December 2018), after a bus and car collided head-on.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a woman aged in her 50s, died at the scene.

The 42-year-old bus driver sustained a minor hand injury. He has been taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.

There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the crash.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Anyone who witnessed it, or the events leading up to it, is urged to contact police.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
