Woman, man assaulted during related home invasions at Dubbo, NSW

A man and a woman have each been assaulted at their homes in the state’s Orana region in what police believe to be the result of an ongoing feud.

On Saturday evening (26 October 2019), a 24-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man became involved in a verbal altercation at a hotel in Dubbo.

During the same evening, the man and several other people allegedly attended the woman’s home on Gasnier Place at Dubbo where they assaulted the woman.

Officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District attended, however all persons had fled the scene.

About 5.25am on Sunday (27 October 2019), several people believed to be associated with the woman attended the 20-year-old man’s home on Birch Avenue at Dubbo.

The man was allegedly assaulted and a number of windows were smashed.

Police attended and conducted crime scene examinations, seizing various exhibits including mobile phones and CCTV.

Investigations continue.
