A second person has been reported following an investigation into alleged drug trafficking and money laundering at Balaklava.
On 29 December 2025, Yorke Mid North Police searched a Balaklava address, resulting in the seizure of significant quantities of illicit drugs, prescription medication, cannabis, cash and prohibited weapons. A 26-year-old man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, money laundering and weapons offences. (CO2600006183, CO2600007356)
As a result of ongoing investigations, police reattended the address yesterday, Sunday 12 July, and reported a 56-year-old Balaklava woman for allegedly trafficking illicit substances, selling prescription medication, selling e-cigarettes and money laundering.
She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
The police investigation remains ongoing.
