Woman robbed at knifepoint, NSW

Police are appealing for information after a woman was robbed at knifepoint on the state’s mid north coast.

About 5am today (Thursday 20 June 2019), a 44-year-old woman was at a service centre at Manning River Drive, Glenthorne, when she was approached by an unknown man.

Police have been told he threatened her with a weapon, believed to be a large knife, and demanded her handbag.

The man grabbed the bag and fled the scene in a westerly direction.

Police from Manning-Great Lakes Police District were called to the service centre and established a crime scene.

The woman wasn’t injured.

The man is described as being around 30-years-old, 165cms tall, with a thin build and dark complexion, wearing a dark hooded jumper, dark tracksuit pants, joggers and possibly a balaclava.
