A woman’s body has been found inside a Lismore home during the ongoing flood operation.
About 10.20am today (Tuesday 1 March 2022), a member of the public attended a home on Ewing Street, concerned for the welfare of a neighbour.
The body of a woman in her 80s was located inside the home; she is yet to be formally identified.
Officers attached to Richmond Police District attended a short time later and established a crime scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
