Police are seeking witnesses after a 44-year-old woman sustained serious head injuries while riding her bicycle at Runaway Bay yesterday morning.
Around 6.15am yesterday the woman has come off her bicycle at the Lae Drive intersection with Morala Avenue.
The woman is presently in the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious head injuries.
Anyone who might have witnessed the incident or is able to shed some light on how the cyclist sustained the injury is asked to contact police.
