MELBOURNE, 10 August 2026 – Workforce Directory has introduced a new Solopreneur subscription for independent workplace specialists, available for $49 plus GST per month or $490 plus GST per annum.
The subscription is designed for professionals operating independently or as single specialists. It may suit solo recruiters, safety specialists, employment lawyers, organisational psychologists, human factors consultants and HR consultants.
The monthly option can be cancelled before the next renewal, giving solo operators flexibility without a long term commitment. Providers choosing the annual option save $98 plus GST compared with paying monthly for 12 months.
These fixed prices give solo providers greater budget certainty compared with the variable cost of paid advertising and promotion across search engines and other open web channels.
Subscribers become part of a concentrated specialist directory containing more than 6,000 provider listings across more than 20 service categories and 270 types of specialist workplace related services.
“Independent workplace specialists often have extensive experience and highly specialised expertise, but they may not have the marketing budgets of larger firms,” said Darren Cutts, CEO and Founder of Workforce Directory.
“We introduced the Solopreneur subscription to give these professionals an affordable way to build their visibility in a marketplace focused specifically on employee and workforce related services.”
Workforce Directory uses AI assisted search to help employers identify providers by service requirement and location. Supervisors, operations leaders, HR Managers, founders and business owners can research relevant specialists before deciding whom they wish to contact.
Mr Cutts said being part of a concentrated specialist directory could provide smaller providers with additional online visibility.
“A specialist directory brings related providers and services together within one focused platform. This collective concentration can help its category and service pages build stronger search visibility than many individual small business websites can achieve on their own,” he said.
“It gives independent practitioners another way to be discovered without relying entirely on their own website, paid search campaigns or social media presence.”
To register, providers need an Australian Business Number and a company domain email address so their business identity can be verified.
Providers do not need to subscribe immediately. Every provider can establish a free basic listing and try the directory before deciding whether the monthly or annual Solopreneur subscription is suitable for their business.
