Hat Head is a step closer to a new play space with the project beginning this week.

Works have commenced at Hat Head Reserve to build the exciting, new inclusive play space.

The play space is set to feature a playground suitable for all ages and abilities, as well as a picnic and BBQ area, basketball courts, landscaping and tree planting for natural shade.

Kempsey Shire Council have partnered with the NSW Government to construct an inclusive play space for residents to enjoy. Council is matching funding received from the NSW Government’s Everyone Can Play Grant program with both providing $107,544 towards the $215,088 project. Hat Head Reserve is one of 37 projects NSW-wide to benefit from this program.
