We’re improving drainage along Wilson Street, Valda Grove and a section of Male Street in Brighton.
These essential works to lay new pipes and install drainage pits will take place from 21 September 2020 along Valda Grove; Wilson Street between the Male Street roundabout and the railway line; and Male Street between the intersection with Wilson Street and Bleazby Avenue.
Streets will remain open with traffic management in place, as required. The Male Street and Wilson Street roundabout will be closed between Monday 28 September 2020 and Friday 2 October 2020 during the day for these works. It will be reopened for traffic after 5pm.
Works are expected to be completed within five weeks, weather permitting. On-street parking will not be available on the affected streets between 7am and 5pm while works in are progress.
