Works to begin on Stuarts Point Hall upgrades

Kempsey Shire Council

A render of the upgrades to stuarts point hall

We’re hitting the tools shortly to give Stuarts Point Community Hall new and improved features that will be a huge benefit to the local community.

Stuarts Point Community Hall will soon have better and more accessible ramps, steps, decks, footpaths, landscaping and paved areas as part of this exciting project.

These works will enhance access and use of the hall which is an important facility to the Stuarts Point, Fishermans Reach and Grassy Head communities.

Construction will begin on 16 May and this means the hall, as well as the library, will be closed while works are carried out. The mobile library van will visit Stuarts Point weekly from 10am – 12 noon Tuesday during this time.

But, what about the events coming up here?

Don’t worry, this is what is happening with them:

  • 21 May – Federal Election – You will still be able to vote here on election day and there will be a temporary and inclusive access point created.
  • 29 May – Festival of Small Halls Resilience Tour – This event will still go ahead at the hall and there will be a temporary and inclusive access point created.
