WorkSafe has confirmed it is investigating the death of a three-year-old boy who was thrown from a side-by-side vehicle at a farm in the state’s north-east on 6 October.
The child’s father, who was contracted at the property, was allegedly driving the vehicle when the incident occurred at Deddick.
The death brings the number of workplace fatalities to 19, compared to 21 at the same time last year.
