It is believed the 28-year-old man was working alone attempting to empty a bin when he became entangled in a lifting mechanism and was crushed inside the back of the truck about 10am.
The death is the 44th confirmed workplace fatality for 2024. There were 71 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
