Wounding charges in Walkervale, QLD

Detectives have charged a man after a wounding incident in Walkervale yesterday afternoon.

Around 4.30pm it will be alleged a man entered a dwelling on Barolin Street armed with a knife and attacked a 49-year-old man.

He suffered a stab wound to the abdomen and was taken to the Bundaberg Hospital for treatment.

A 35-year-old man from Bundaberg West has been charged with enter dwelling with intent to commit an indictable offence, whilst armed and acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

He is due to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today.
