Wounding chargesin Brisbane

Police have charged two people following an alleged wounding incident that occurred in Nundah yesterday, October 25.

It will be alleged that shortly after 9am, police responded to an altercation involving multiple people.

Upon arrival, a 35-year-old MacGregor man and a 37-year-old Stretton man were located with non-life-threatening wounds.

They were transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment.

A 35-year-old man and a 54-year-old man were taken into custody at the scene.

A 54-year-old Carindale man has been charged with two counts of wounding.

He has been denied police bail and is expected to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court today, October 26.

A 35-year-old Carindale man has been charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

He is expected to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 6.
