Services on five tram routes will be disrupted on Wednesday, October 20 and Thursday, October 21 with a lower frequency at times due to driver availability at the Malvern depot.
A number of drivers are currently in isolation after a driver at the Malvern depot tested positive for COVID-19.
From Wednesday, a number of tram services on routes 5, 6, 16, 58 and 72 will be cancelled.
It is expected disruption will continue for at least several days as drivers who are not close contacts return negative results and are cleared to return to work.
Yarra Trams will endeavour to provide as regular a service as possible across the affected routes.
