Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) crews are currently on scene at a rubbish fire on Workshop Road, Yarrabah. Crews have been working to extinguish the fire and will continue to monitor it overnight. Smoke may affect the surrounding area throughout the night. Residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
