Police have stopped a robbery in progress at Davoren Park this evening.
Police were patrolling the Davoren Park area when they heard a commotion at a nearby liquor store about 8.30pm on Tuesday 5 December.
The patrol entered the store and found a glass cabinet had been smashed and a suitcase filled with top-shelf whiskeys.
The suspect, who was allegedly armed with a knife, was immediately arrested without incident.
There were no injuries to staff.
The youth was taken to the Elizabeth Police Station to be charged and interviewed in relation to the robbery.
Investigations are continuing.
