This year’s Youth Week events team have been working hard to develop an awesome program of events for youth week. The program is all about reconnecting and having fun!
This year’s celebrations will kick off on 8 April with a night of Hollywood glamour at Gerringong Library and Museum with a movie under the stars, gaming on the big screen and all the delicious food you’d expect to find at the movies.
The following day we will be hosting a Rainbow Run for all ages at Werri Beach. If you’ve never run through a rainbow before check out what to expect by searching up “colour run” on Youtube!
Tickets are free for young people aged 12-25 and $5 for everyone else. The run will start at the north end of the beach and finish on the Surf Club lawn with the awesome Gerringong Life Saving Club crew providing a BBQ lunch. There will be music and a Smash Lab free for young people aged 12-25 who complete the run. Numbers are limited to 200 for this event so get in early to avoid disappointment. All entries will receive a free pair of colourful shades.
