Parking in Devonport’s multi-level car park is now even easier!
ZipBy is a touchless parking app that allows you to drive in and out of the carpark without needing a ticket – or even touching your phone. How? Simply download the ZipBy app, free through App Store and Google Play, and register for a ZipBy account.
When you drive up to the gate, the system will automatically detect you and raise the gate on entry and exit.
Use of the app allows touchless hands-free parking on any level of the multi-level car park. It is a secure credit card payment, that eliminates the need to get a ticket on entry and to then pay for that ticket before leaving the car park – parking receipts and monthly statements are emailed to the registered user.
Once registered, there is no need to interact with the app, however it is important to ensure that the required settings are set up at the time of registration.
There is no extra charge to use ZipBy. Parking in the multi-level car park is free for the first 30 minutes, and then $1.00 per 30 minutes, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm.
Saturdays and Sundays, and after 6:00pm on weekdays, is a $2.00 flat fee. All-day parking is available for $5 per day on the top level, from Monday – Friday.
ZipBy is intended to make parking just that little bit easier – no more winding down the window and getting a ticket, no more having to pay for your parking before returning to your car – it is like having VIP access and having your own parking assistant.
