14-year-old boy hit by car at Liverpool, NSW

Police are appealing for witnesses or dashcam footage after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Liverpool today.

About 4.20pm (Friday 19 July 2019), emergency services were called to Elizabeth Drive, where a 14-year-old boy was hit by a car while crossing the road.

The boy suffered significant head injuries and was conveyed to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.

The driver of the vehicle is assisting police with inquiries. He is attending hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Liverpool Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

If anyone witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage that can assist with the investigation, they are urged to come forward.

Local traffic diversions are in place.
