Tennis champions of the future are returning to Playford with international men’s and women’s tennis hitting off at our world-class sporting facility.
After a three-year hiatus, the tournament, which is part of the Australian Pro Tour will be held from 24 October until 30 October.
This will be the fourth international men’s and women’s tournament hosted by Playford Tennis Centre, which is a lead-in competition for the Australian Open.
Our last tournaments have attracted players from all around the world including Japan, Germany, France, USA and Great Britain. The City of Playford Tennis International has a history of up-and-coming players participating in the tournament. Bianca Andreescu and Daniil Medvedev both took part in the year before winning their first Grand Slam titles.
The City of Playford Tennis International is one of South Australia’s most prestigious tennis event in 2022, with players competing for $110,000 USD in Tennis Australia prize money.

Kids Zone
Aside from the on-court action, there’s fun for everyone with the free Kids Zone, offering fun activities for the whole family and our young future tennis superstars.
Entry and participation in the Kids Zone is free and open to everyone, so bring the kids along to enjoy a variety of fun filled activities.
