Mitchell Shire is celebrating National Volunteer Week (18-24 May 2026) with a funding boost for ten community‑led projects and the launch of new volunteer information displays across the Shire.
The 2026 theme, Your Year to Volunteer, celebrates the many ways people contribute and encourages everyone to get involved in meaningful, community‑building ways.
Mitchell Shire Council proudly acknowledges the volunteers, community groups and organisations who give their time and energy to support others and build a more connected community.
