Lismore City Council has committed to continuing discussions with the Blakebrook Community Action Group and the broader community following a meeting this week between Mayor Steve Krieg, General Manager Eber Butron and community representatives regarding Council’s long-term waste planning.
Mayor Steve Krieg said the meeting provided a valuable opportunity to listen directly to community concerns and to better understand the issues residents want addressed as Council plans for the future management of waste across the region.
