2023 NSW State Election

The NSW State election will be held on Saturday 25 March 2023.

Please note that iVote (internet voting on personal computers, tablet devices and smartphones) will not be available at this election. Below is some accessible information about your voting options that the NSW Electoral Commission have provided.

What you need to know

  • Voting is compulsory.
  • Voting centres are open on Saturday 25 March 2023, from 8am to 6pm
  • If you are blind or have low vision, you can vote by telephone.
  • Every early voting and election day voting centre has magnifying sheets and large grip pens.
  • Many voting centres are staffed by bilingual election officials. These officials will be wearing stickers with the language(s) they speak.
  • You can take a friend, family member or support worker with you if you need help to vote, or you can ask an election official.

If you can’t make it to a voting centre on election day, you may be eligible to vote

  • in person at a early voting centre on Saturday 18 March or from Monday, 20 March to Friday 24 March
  • apply for a postal voting pack which will be sent out from Monday 13 March onwards

Use the Electoral Commission’s “Find my electorate” address look-up tool to find out where you can vote and for wheelchair accessibility information. To use the tool:

  • enter your enrolled address
  • click on the name of your district in your search results
  • select a location on the map to view the venue name, accessibility features, opening hours and to get directions.
