Darwin’s incredible coastline will be receiving a major boost, activating an underutilised area and making it more accessible for Territorians.

Works at Cullen Bay, East Point and the Nightcliff foreshore have been well received and increased the use of these areas by Top End residents enjoying the great Territory lifestyle. Now, jewel in the inner-city coastal strip, Bundilla, will see infrastructure and landscaping upgrades to unlock the area for more uses for locals and visitors alike.

To make sure our public spaces are activated the Territory Labor Government is investing $3 million into revitalising Bundilla Park.

The $3 million revitalisation package of works include:

increase lighting in walkway between Ski Club to the Sailing Club; irrigation for grassed areas;four powered site locations for food vans to use; and a basketball half court.

The Territory Government will now work with the City of Darwin to get this project underway.

Revitalising our suburbs and community areas is a project the Territory Government has been undertaking for a number of years now. Through the $200 million City Deal the Darwin CBD is being transformed, investing in social and community infrastructure in Palmerston, and the Darwin Street Art festival has seen our suburbs painted in art for the past six years.

Quotes attributed to Chief Minister Natasha Fyles:
