3.2kg ICE, cash, IDs seized after Wentworth Point home raided, NSW

A woman will face court today charged after police seized 3.2kg of ice and $10,000 cash in Sydney’s west.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Organised Crime Squad and officers from the NSW Crime Commission established Strike Force Polle to investigate money laundering and other illicit criminal activities.

As part of ongoing investigations, strike force detectives, assisted by the Public Order and Riot Squad, executed a search warrant at a home at Wentworth Point about 7.30am yesterday (Friday 6 January 2023).

During the search, police seized 3.2kg of methylamphetamine (ice), $10,000 cash, drivers’ licences from various Australian jurisdictions, mobile phones and various documentation.

The ice has an estimated potential street value of $360,000.

Following further inquiries, a second search warrant was conducted at a business at North Willoughby, where police seized a CCTV system.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested at the Wentworth Point property and taken to Auburn Police Station.

She was charged with large commercial drug supply, and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.

The woman has been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 7 January 2023).
