All cat and kitten adoptions are only $50 until the end of October as part of Council’s Animal Care and Adoption Centre Spring Cat Sale.
All the cats and kittens available for adoption are de-sexed, wormed, microchipped and have had their first vaccination.
They have also been temperament assessed to ensure they are suitable for re-homing, with residents encouraged to make the most of this great offer and add a feline to their family.
Community Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability Committee Chairperson Maurie Soars encouraged anyone interested in taking up this great offer to take a look at Council’s Adopt a Pet page.
“Our Animal Care and Adoption Centre is full of adorable and friendly cats and kittens ready to find their fur-ever homes,” Cr Soars said.
“The companionship helps create more welcoming, inclusive and connected neighbourhoods, which is why I’d highly recommend adopting a pet if your household is ready to take on a new companion.

“If you think now is the right time to adopt a cat or dog, head to Council’s website and take a look at the animals available for adoption.”
The Spring Cat Sale ends on 28 October 2023, and the Animal Care and Adoption Centre is open by appointment only so anyone interested can call 0457 769 362 to book a visit.
