A new Territory Worker Connect Portal and UK delegation to yield a boost for Hospitality workforce

NT Government

A delegation of Territory business will aim to recruit 100 hospitality workers when they visit the United Kingdom and Ireland next month to increase our skilled workforce through the Global Worker Attraction Program.

The Territory Labor Government is working with industry to expand the delegation’s offerings to other critical sectors, including construction, medical and nursing, business and automotive.

To assist businesses in finding new workers the Territory Government is also launching a new Territory Worker Connect portal; an online platform that manages a community of skilled people interested in working and living in the Northern Territory.

From 8-14 March, the delegation will deliver skilled and semi-skilled worker information sessions in Cork, Birmingham, Manchester and Dublin in support of all Territory sectors impacted by critical workforce shortages.

The delegation, including representatives from MigrationNT, will hold information sessions, designed to connect employers with workers and to give job seekers all the information they need to succeed in the Territory job market, along with information about visa pathways in Australia.
