A walk with a view – City of Casey

If you haven’t discovered Casey’s latest outdoor fitness destination, take a walk with a view at Bayview Park in Narre Warren North.

Home to Casey’s own 1,001 steps, inspired by the popular 1,000 steps in Upper Ferntree Gully, the park was officially opened late last year.

Four Oaks Ward Councillors Rosalie Crestani and Milla Gilic said Council invested more than $800,000 to transform the former Narre Warren landfill site into a beautiful public park.

“This is a wonderful open space with fitness and walking tracks that cater for a range of fitness levels and abilities. It also provides magnificent sweeping views across Casey and out towards Westernport Bay and Port Phillip Bay,” Cr Crestani said.

Cr Milic said Council is also working on a masterplan for the site “to guide additional improvements and development”, with future opportunities for community input as the plans progress.

Bayview Park is located at 188T Quarry Road, Narre Warren.
