AFPA welcomes Yvette Nash, new ForestWorks General Manager

The Australian Forest Products Association (AFPA), congratulates and welcomes newly appointed ForestWorks General Manager, Yvette Nash, who will start in the role next week.

ForestWorks is an industry owned not-for-profit organisation offering skills development services for industry.

“On behalf of AFPA, I welcome and congratulate Yvette on being appointed as new ForestWorks General Manager. Yvette has extensive experience working with governments and government agencies, as well as stakeholders,” Mr Hampton said.

“ForestWorks has a critical role in industry skills and safety development which is so important for businesses right across the full value chain of forest industries.

“Skills and training are fundamental to delivering the government’s goal of seeing one billion new production trees in the right place at the right scale over the coming decade. ForestWorks has a vital role in assisting in this area.

“AFPA will continue our excellent relationship with ForestWorks and will work with Yvette for the betterment of forest industries,” Mr Hampton concluded.
