Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Lonsdale in the early hours of this morning.
About 3.13am today (Saturday, 14 March) police were called to the hotel on Sherriffs Road after reports that two men had entered the premises and threatened staff, before stealing an amount of cash. One of the men was armed with a firearm.
The two suspects then left the scene in a silver Holden Caprice sedan, possibly a mid-2000’s model.
There is minimal description available of the suspects, apart from both wearing dark clothing, masks and both were of Caucasian appearance. One of the men had blue eyes.
