“Media reports of CFMMEU attempts to bully the Queensland Government into requiring contractors on major Queensland projects to agree to unsustainable wages and conditions, need to be decisively rejected by the Government,” Ai Group Chief Executive, Innes Willox, said today.
“Queenslanders deserve their taxes to be spent wisely and for vital infrastructure like schools, hospitals, roads, bridges and tunnels to be delivered at reasonable cost. The Queensland Government needs to act in the public interest – not in the narrow interests of the CFMMEU,” said Mr Willox.
