The debut of Alpha Home

Adaptable to various purposes, including monitor, interact and control of energy storage system – as well as other IoT devices that go beyond energy storage – Alpha Home lets users feel the human-machine interaction in real time and introduces the Smart Home conception into perceivable lifestyle.

Integrated with the AWS IoT from Amazon, the Alpha Cloud makes it possible for Alpha system to control the IoT devices via Amazon Echo. Even without IoT devices, a home could also be upgraded to go smart. Thanks to the IoT contacts provided by Alpha, home circuits could be leveled up to IoT capable while installing the energy storage system.

Smart modules are rapidly building momentum in the solar industry today and AlphaESS also exhibited its Smart PV panel for the first time. “The aim is to make life easier and saving money at the same time,” said Dr. Dong Lin, the Vice President of AlphaESS. The new move has unfolded the ambition of AlphaESS, to shake the known experience and take life to the next lever of technology.

Residential and industrial product lineup

Since 2012, AlphaESS has continuously put great importance and increased its investment in R&D. It has developed a full power range of energy storage systems to meet the needs of different residential and commercial & industrial users. AlphaESS has won iF awards, Red Dot Design Award and has been selected as finalist of 2018 & 2019 ees AWARD as well. Its 10kW household energy storage system T10, commercial system T30 and large industrial containers are also exhibited this year.

Opportunities in 2019

“The SA HBS really prompted ESS in the market,” stated Dr. Dong Lin, in his speech, “The further price drop of both Solar PV and energy storage and state government driven energy storage policy through subsidies for batteries are definitely going to boost the Australia market this year.”

In 2019, AlphaESS established a new Korean subsidiary and signed strategic partnerships with Taeyang Enertec, a new energy Korean company, and Okaya Electromechanical in Japan, to further expand its global presences.
