Anzac Day Services – Saturday 25 April
On Saturday 25 April, our community will gather to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served in our armed forces.
Wentworth Shire Council is proud to share the community-organised commemorative services taking place across the Shire. We encourage residents to join these local tributes led by our dedicated community groups and RSL sub-branches.
Please be aware of the following changes to Council operating hours over the ANZAC Day long weekend:
- Saturday 25 April (ANZAC Day): All Council offices, libraries, and waste facilities are CLOSED. The Wentworth Visitor Information Centre will be OPEN 9:00am – 1:00pm.
- Monday 27 April (Public Holiday Observed): Most services remain CLOSED. However, the Buronga Landfill will be OPEN 8:00am – 4:45pm.
- Tuesday 28 April: Normal operating hours re-commence for all services.
