Appeal for witnesses, Inala traffic crash

Inala police investigating a crash at Inala yesterday afternoon which significantly damaged twovehicles and left the occupants injured are appealing for public assistance.

Around 2.30pm on Friday, January 11 two vehicles were travelling west along Inala Avenue, between Thrush Street and Corsair Avenue, when they collided.

One of the vehicles hit a curb before colliding with the other vehicle in the right lane. Both vehicles travelled into the centre median strip, striking two trees before they were both forced back onto the road way, where one of the vehicles came to a stop and the other vehicle spun around resting on its side.

The two occupants of one of the vehicles– an 18-year-old woman and the 19-year-old male driver- both from Collingwood Park sustained minor injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle, an 18-year-old man from Heathwood, also sustained minor injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the crash, or the vehicles prior to the crash, to contact them (details below).

The vehicles involved were a silver 2007 Nissan Nivara dualcab and a black 2015 Holden Cruze sedan.
