Appeal to identify man following alleged sexual touching incident – Glebe

Detectives are appealing for assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with inquiries, following an incident in Sydney’s Inner West yesterday.

Police have been told about 10.50am (Monday 10 April 2023), a 54-year-old man was allegedly inappropriately touched by an unknown man inside a shop on Parramatta Road, Glebe.

Officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their investigation.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 60s, about 170cm tall, and of large build. He was wearing a grey coat, black shorts and a dark blue bucket hat.
