Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the state’s North Coast.
Stuart Elliott, aged 82, was last seen at a property on The Pocket Road, The Pocket, about 1:30pm today (Sunday 19 July 2026).
When he could not be located, officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he lives with dementia.
Stuart is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with white hair and glasses.
He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, black t-shirt with blue overshirt, grey vest and brown “Ugg-style” boots.
Anyone who sees Stuart, or has information into his whereabouts, is urged to call 000 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
