Appeal to locate missing Campsie man, last seen at Epping

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Campsie.

Zhi Xiong Li, aged 63, was last seen leaving a Campsie home, about 1pm yesterday (Friday 29 September 2023).

When he failed to return and could not be located or contacted, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified today (Saturday 30 September 2023) and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Mr Li lives with dementia and his family and police hold serious concerns for his welfare due to him living with dementia and may appear confused or disoriented.

Mr Li is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm to 165cm tall, of slim build, with balding grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue jumper, grey pants, black/grey shoes and a black hat with a red letter ‘H’.

Mr Li is believed to be using the public transport network and inquiries into his movements indicate he left Epping Railway Station about 9.25am this morning.
