Appeal to locate missing teenage boy – Sydney CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing in Sydney’s CBD.

Daniel Zunniga, aged 12, was last seen about 3pm yesterday (Thursday 11 April 2024) at Airds, before being captured on CCTV about 10:45pm at Town Hall train station.

When he was unable to be located or contacted, Daniel was reported missing to officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police hold serious concerns for Daniel’s welfare due to his age.

Daniel is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm tall, solid build, with brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, camouflage shorts and shoes with orange stripes, and is known to frequent Sydney CBD near Town Hall and Central station.
