Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney’s south west.
Dakota Smith, aged 13, was last seen in Bass Hill about 10:30pm on Sunday (6 October 2024).
When she was unable to be contacted or located, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and immediately commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police hold concerns for Dakota’s welfare due to her age.
She is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 157cm tall, with a thin build and black hair.
Dakota is known to frequent the Mascot, Glebe, Redfern and Broadway areas.
