Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from the state’s south.
Damien Dawton, aged 16, was last seen in Queanbeyan on Sunday 30 August 2026.
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Monaro Police District were notified yesterday (Friday 11 September 2026) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
There are concerns for Damien’s welfare due to his young age.
Damien is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm, thin build with brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a black jumper, black track pants and black shoes.
Damien is known to frequent the Queanbeyan, Wollongong and Parramatta areas.
Inquiries have established that he may have been in the vicinity of Mays Hill – about 1km of south of Parramatta – on Wednesday (9 September 2026).
