A teenage boy will appear in court today charged over an alleged stabbing following a house party in Sydney’s north west overnight.
About 9.40pm (Friday 30 October 2026), officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command were called to Charles Tompson Boulevard, Marsden Park, following reports of a large house party.
Due to the number of attendees, police directed the party be shut down.
Whilst the crowd was being dispersed, police will allege a physical altercation began, resulting in an 18-year-old man sustaining a laceration to his forearm.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A short time later, police arrested a 17-year-old boy – with assistance from members of the public – before he was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station.
There were no other reports of injuries or property damage.
The 17-year-old boy has since been charged with reckless wounding and possess prohibited drug.
He was refused bail to appear at a children’s court today (Saturday 31 October 2026).
