Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Tamworth.
Aleigha Gismondo, aged 13, was last seen near a service station on Goonoo Goonoo Road, Hillvue, about 3pm yesterday (Sunday 27 September 2026).
When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Aleigha’s welfare due to her young age.
She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 150cm to 160cm tall, of large build with long blue and red coloured hair.
Aleigha was last seen wearing a black hoodie and carrying a black back pack.
Inquiries indicate Aleigha may have been in the vicinity of the Pacific Highway, Marlow, about 7.45pm yesterday.
