Appeal to locate two girls missing from Sydney’s Inner West

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two girls missing from Sydney’s Inner West.

Yoshino Stanford – aged 12 – and Isabella Herring – aged 13 – were last seen on Hereford Street, Forest Lodge, about 8am yesterday (Saturday 6 May 2023).

When they could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Leichardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into their whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for their welfare due to their young age.

Yoshino is described as being of Asian appearance, about 152cm tall with slim build, and has curly shoulder-length black hair.

She was last seen wearing a blue jumper and white pants.

Isabella is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 162cm tall with medium build, shoulder length straight blonde hair, and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt over a grey long-sleeve shirt and black shorts.

Police believe the two girls may have travelled to the Manly and Circular Quay areas together.
