Armed hold-up Salisbury North, South Australia

Northern District police are investigating an armed robbery at a football club at Salisbury North overnight.

Just before 11pm on Wednesday 19 February, a two men wearing hooded tops one armed with a screw driver, entered the footy club on Bagster Road.

The armed man demanded cash and was given money from two tills, he then jumped the bar counter and opened another till, taking more money.

The two suspects then left, in a silver Nissan SUV driven by a third male.

There were no physical injuries from the ordeal.

Police patrols searched the area, including, PolAir the police helicopter but neither the suspects or the vehicle were located.

Both males are described as wearing dark clothing, including black trackpants and black and white sneakers.

The silver Nissan SUV matches the description of a stolen car registration S840-CAJ which was taken from a Woodville West address on Monday 17 February.

North District Police are investigating and are asking anyone with information on the robbery or the vehicle to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
