Armed robberies appeal at Dalby

Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with investigations into two armed robberies that occurred within minutes of each other in Dalby yesterday, October 9.

Initial investigations indicate around 6.30pm, a man entered a business on Nicholson Street armed with a knife and threatened a staff member, before leaving with money and alcohol.

Several minutes later, it is believed the same man entered another business on Bunya Street while still armed and threatened the employee of that business, before again fleeing with money and alcohol.

Neither employee was physically injured.

Investigators suspect the man left both incidents in a white Toyota Hilux described as having a flatbed tray and ‘checker-plate’ toolbox.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who witnessed either robbery, is urged to contact police.
