Arrest for Singleton armed robbery

Regional Investigations Unit Detectives have arrested a man as a result of their investigation into an armed robbery that occurred in Singleton on 24 March 2019.

It will be alleged about 1.10am, the man with his face covered and carrying a tomahawk entered a petrol station on Mandurah Road and threatened staff.

It is further alleged he smashed a glass door that led to the staff area and stole a quantity of cash and tobacco.

The 24-year-old man from Golden Bay has been charged with Armed Robbery. He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 27 March 2019.
